When you think of the letter ‘K’, what are some of the first words that come to mind? King, kindred, kind, keeper… the list goes on.
It is said that “we are in this world, but not of this world”. What could that mean? There is a stark difference between those who choose to live according to the dictates of this world and it’s pleasures and those who set their eyes beyond the horizon. While no judgement is passed on one or the other choice, allow me to shed light on the latter.
Kingdom focus and kingdom living is a life set apart. Kingly principles guide and direct the actions taken and the results speak for themselves.
K – King
I – in
N – nature
G – greatness
D – dominion
O – overall
M – majesty
Scriptures related to kingdom:
Seek first the kingdom of God – Matthew 6:33
- But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33
The kingdom of God is not… Romans 14:17
- For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:17
The Lord’s Prayer – Thy kingdom come
- Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:9-10
The greatness of the kingdom – Daniel 7:27
- And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High; his kingdom shall be an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. Daniel 7:27
His Kingdom rules…Psalm 103:19
- The Lord has established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all. Psalm 103:19
When you have Kingdom principles operating in your life, the words King, kindred, kind, keeper become an everyday, walking and talking experience.
