I would like to share my testimony about the year 2022, when I had my cardiac bypass surgery.
My granddaughter was one week old when I was admitted for the surgery. I had a strong motivation for recovering and was looking forward to enjoy my time as a grandmother with my first grandchild.
God saw it fit for her to be born at that specific time. My son and my daughter-in-law welcomed this great blessing into their family after eleven years of marriage. So did my husband and I and we were so overjoyed and emotional when we heard that we were going to have a grandchild.
The thought of knowing that she may not know how much I loved her and had eagerly awaited her arrival, egged me on to recover. Through the amazing grace of our Heavenly Father, whose timing is always perfect, we were blessed to witness her baby dedication and thanksgiving celebrations.
It was also wonderful that my husband enjoyed ten and a half months with her before his unexpected death. Even after he passed away, my granddaughter, Chlöe Isabelle is a joy and has filled that gap in our home with the warm sunshine she brings into our hearts. It is so good to watch her grow in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I am so thankful that I have a Heavenly Father who loves and cares for us. He is ever present in the happenings of our lives. Romans 8:28 says, “All things work together for good to those who love the Lord.” I can truly say that I have a very thankful heart!
Be encouraged with these verses:
“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:29-31 NIV
Love,
Martha S.
